I am having difficulties with Technidyne Color Touch instruments. The
spectra of ordinary, unprinted papers tend to have a "wiggly"
appearance that just can't be right. During the last couple of years,
I worked with more than 30 spectrometers of different brands and
types, e.g. DataColor, L&W, Minolta etc. and the only ones having this
wiggly appearance of spectra are "Color Touch"-es.

The behavior is somewhat erratic as can be seen in the two following
image. The spectra are the choosen from a set of 20 measurements,
where the paper sample didn't move between the measurements. These two
where the ones that differed the most, with others laying somehere in-
between. The local maxima and minima allways seem to occur at the same
wavelengths.

This wiggling hasn't bothered me previously, but now I'm working with
measurements where this behavior is very disturbing.

Has anyone else had problems with the Color Touch in this respect and
is there a remedy for it?

Regards,
